Information regarding a precautionary Boil Water Notice advisory. The areas that are affected will be listed (the areas are often confined to a given few houses several streets, selected sections of a system or at times the entire system) watch for how the affected area is noted or listed, in order to know what area is under the Boil Water Notice or the Boil Water Advisory Lift Notice. When the precautionary Boil Water Notice is given it is an indicator that this means:

CONDITIONS INDICATE THERE IS A CHANCE THE WATER MAY BE CONTAMINATED. WATER QUALITY TESTING HAS NOT OCCURRED TO CONFIRM OR DENY THE PRESENCE OF CONTAMINATION IN YOUR WATER.

Keep in mind until testing is completed nothing has been concluded, the Boil Water Notice is strictly precautionary.

DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING FIRST
Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.

Crews are working to reestablish normal conditions and we will issue a Boil Water Advisory Lift when you no longer need to boil your water. We anticipate resolving the issue as soon as possible.
